Decorate your Thanksgiving table on a budget

Thanksgiving is a busy time of the year, and while we focus on creating a delicious meal, we know we have to also create a fabulous table décor. Here are some simple, easy, inexpensive and eco-friendly ideas to transform your thanksgiving table setting into works of art!

By using the eco-friendly vase you can save between 50%-75 percent from using a regular glass vase. The price of an eco friendly vase is between $3.35-$5.75 vs. regular vases, which range from $9.00-$25.00 and up.

You can get creative with nuts, feathers, candles, tree branches and leaves from your backyard to add the final touch. All of these ideas are simple and easy ways to dress your dining table for a fraction of the price without sacrificing the overall design.

Items needed:

  • Assorted nuts (walnuts, chestnuts, pistachio etc.)
  • Dried corn
  • Dried peas
  • Peeled almonds
  • Cashews
  • Pheasant feathers
  • Peacock feathers
  • Dried wheat
  • Assorted clear glass cylinders
  • Assorted berries (toyon, privet etc)
  • Fall leaves
  • Tree branches
  • Assorted fall flowers
  • Mini pumpkins
  • Artichokes
  • Floating Candles

Cylinder filled with corn, almonds and peas with a decorated mini pumpkin on top

Centerpiece filled with pheasant feather, artichoke and fall leaves.
  1. Take a round cylinder.

  2. Fill with floral foam pre-soaked for 3 min.

  3. Add artichokes around the perimeter of the vases.

  5. Add the pheasant feathers in the center.
