The sexual assault is believed to have occurred late Thursday at the woman's home in the 2400 block of Nevin Avenue, but it was not reported to police until around 8 a.m. Friday, Richmond police Sgt. Bisa French said. The suspect, Anthony Square, 44, is a relative by marriage, French said. The woman had activated a Life Alert emergency notification transponder Thursday night, but when police responded to the notification, she "didn't tell us what happened at that time," French said. But the woman called back Friday morning and said Square had assaulted her, French said. Square was not yet in custody as of 12:30 p.m. but French said an arrest is imminent. "We do know where the suspect is," she said. "He's not in custody but we expect him to be taken in later today." The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was released Friday evening, French said.
