Employees at the Pacific Steel Casting Plant in Berkeley are on strike. Nearly 500 union members protested outside the company's two plants on Monday. A video of the strike was sent into uReport Powered by YouTube.

According to the blog Berkeleyside, the workers oppose Pacific Steel's proposal that would require employees to pay for a percentage of their health care. They currently only pay for their doctor visits and prescriptions.

Pacific Steel declined to comment on the strike.
