SAN FRANCISCO

It began was last September 17, when hundreds of people rallied in New York City's financial district to protest big banks and economic inequality. The rally sparked a worldwide movement.

Protesters marked the anniversary with a rally Saturday in New York. Several people were arrested on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to resisting arrest. More demonstrations are planned for Monday across the nation.

In the Bay Area, protestors plan to demonstrate at the Wells Fargo bank at the downtown Berkeley BART station.
