San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick may not have come home from the Super Bowl with a ring, but judging by the number of people who came out to greet him on Friday, he's still a winner.

"The 49er Faithful" turned out by the hundreds for an autograph and to have their pictures taken with Kaepernick at the Danville Safeway Friday afternoon.

"He's so sweet. Oh my god! Any girl would love to have him! I'm telling you he's a doll, I love you Kaepernick. Too bad I'm a grandma," said Jan Gilbrook, a San Francisco 49ers fan.

Despite the team's loss to the Baltimore Ravens last month, Kaepernick has not lost his star power. Friday's line stretched out the front doors, around the corner, and down the street.
