A 3.6 preliminary magnitude earthquake has struck near 4.9 miles southwest of Alum Rock.

ALUM ROCK, Calif. (KGO) -- A 3.4 preliminary magnitude earthquake has struck 4.9 miles southwest of Alum Rock.

The quake had a depth of 4.6 miles and struck along the Calaveras Fault.

There are several reports of people feeling it in the South Bay and East Bay, but no reports of damage or injuries.
