About Bruce M. Freedman, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Freedman is the medical director at Plastic Surgery Associates of Northern Virginia, McLean Virginia. He graduated from Duke University School of Medicine, completed his Plastic Surgery residency at St. Louis University and aesthetic surgery fellowship at New York University. Dr. Freedman is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Freedman has practiced in Northern Virginia since 1989, served as Chief of the Plastic Surgery Division at Reston Hospital Center for five years, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University. Dr. Freedman has over 30 publications in medical journals and textbooks and continues to perform research and lecture nationally on the latest developments in cosmetic surgery. He is also an FDA approved investigator in the areas of silicone gel breast augmentation and wound healing.
