Ship replicating the Nina comes to SF

SAN FRANCISCO

The "sailing museum" was scheduled to dock at the Embarcadero at Pier 9 on Wednesday but was delayed due to high winds off the Baja Coast.

The ship was hand-built and no power tools were used in the making. It will open to the public at 9 a.m. on Friday. Tickets are generally $5, with the exceptions of students for $3, senior citizens for $4 and children under 4-years-old for free.

The replica is scheduled to set sail from the pier the morning of May 12.
