Lorrie's "Tips for the Trail" to be prepared:
1. Wear long pants to avoid brushing bare legs against poison oak.
2. Be sure to bring a snack along to keep energy levels up.
3. Be sure to bring water to rehydrate along the hike.
4. Bring a compact first aid kit in case of bug bites, scrapes, sprained ankle, etc.
