It happened at about 3 am on Eddy Street in the city's Western Addition District.
Numerous shots were fired between two men out on the street. One bullet went through the wall of the woman's second-story apartment - hitting her TV.
The woman says the bullet missed her by less than a foot. Several cars and a motorcycle were also hit.
Police detained one man on weapons charges and are still looking for other suspects.
