Capitol Ligh Rail to re-open Monday

SAN JOSE

Those stations are scheduled to reopen in August but the authority will offer a free, light rail bus bridge as a substitute in the meantime.

The closures are part of a retrofit plan including 13 stations, to eliminate the step into the light rail vehicle from the station platform by early next year. The plan is to make access easier for people who are mobility impaired and will overall help decrease "dwell" time.

The Ohlone/Chynoweth Light Rail Station will close on July 6. In August, the three are scheduled to reopen, prompting the closure of Blossom Hill and Cottle Light Rail Stations.
