The standoff continues between UC Berkeley and supporters of the tree sitters.

Police are keeping supporters away from the handful of protestors still in the trees.

On Sunday, a group called the Berkeley Grandmothers tried and failed to send food up to the tree sitters.

A university spokesman says they're getting enough to eat, so they should stop complaining about food.

"The people in the trees are being provided with daily essentials of food and water but if they don't like their current conditions, the solution is a simple one. they just need to come down," said UC Berkeley spokesperson Dan Mogulof.

School officials are waiting for a judge to decide when construction of a new training center can begin.
