A band of moisture that was moving toward the North Bay does not
appear to be a threat for dry lightning. Any threat of dry thunderstorms will
be well north of the area today, according to the NWS.
This is good news for /*firefighters*/, who have relentlessly been
battling countless wildfires in the region sparked by dry lightning.
