Almost four dozen homes and businesses are without electricity in parts of Concord, Antioch, Walnut Creek, Pittsburg, Lafayette and Danville.
The lights are back on for most of the 9,000 customers east bay customers who lost power last night. PG&E is blaming equipment failure.
The agency which manages the state's power grid -- has ordered another "Flex Alert" for Wednesday. The California Independent Systems operator, Cal-ISO, is asking everyone to conserve energy by turning off all non-essential lights and avoid using major appliances until after 7:00 pm.
The Flex Alert will remain in effect at least through tomorrow.
