Some ACE Train passengers were delayed up to three hours on Tuesday - as the hot temperatures warmed up the rocks around the tracks causing them to kink.
Union Pacific officials worked on the tracks between Sunol and Pleasanton for hours - checking the tracks inch by inch. Commuters between Fremont and Pleasanton were the ones affected on Tuesday.
