Detectives said the man grabbed the 17-year-old victim from behind early Sunday morning on Fremont Boulevard, near Clough Street.
The suspect is described as being chubby, about five feet, seven inches tall and in his mid to late 30s. He may have been driving a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
