Closing arguments are set for this morning in the trial of the man accused of attacking Holocaust survivor and scholar Elie Wiesel.

Eric Hunt is accused of dragging the 79-year-old Wiesel off an elevator in a San Francisco hotel in February of last year.

Wiesel was not hurt in the alleged attack.

The 24-year-old Hunt has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to charges of attempted kidnapping, elder abuse, false imprisonment, battery, stalking and hate crimes.

Wiesel is the author of "Night," a memoir chronicling his experiences in Nazi death camps.
