Highway 92 open following fire

Firefighters have controlled a two-alarm grass fire that burned along state Highway 92 east of Half Moon Bay this afternoon, a fire dispatcher said.

The fire, estimated to have burned about 3 to 4 acres, was reported around 1:45 p.m. and controlled about an hour later, the dispatcher said.

No injuries were reported.

The California Highway Patrol reopened Highway 92 shortly before 4 p.m.
