The blaze at a structure described to fire dispatchers as a garage in the 1500 block of Capell Valley Road was reported around 4:40 a.m. and contained about an hour later.
Firefighters, four engines and a fire prevention officer remained on the scene of the fire later this morning mopping up, a Cal Fire dispatcher said.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. No injuries were reported.
