Chocolate chip cookie recipes:

Original Toll House

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
¾ Brown Sugar
¾ White Sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of Vanilla
2 ¼ cups of flour
1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
1 teaspoon of Salt
Package of Chocolate Chips (minimum of 12 oz.)

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees F
Bake 9-11 minutes

Vegan Toll House-Like

1 cup (2 sticks) Earth Balance
¾ Brown Sugar
¾ White Sugar - (for healthier cookies try maple or date sugar)
3 Teaspoons of Egg Replacer combined with 4 tablespoon of warm water - mix well
1 tablespoon of Vanilla
2 ¼ cups of flour (for healthier cookies avoid white flour)
1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
1 teaspoon of Salt
Package of Chocolate Chips (minimum of 12 oz.) with no dairy products - try adding broken dark chocolate from bars.

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees F Bake 9-11 minutes

Very healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie called "The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie" from Natural Health Magazines' (March-April 1997 issue)

No Sugar
No Eggs
No Butter
1 ½ cups of old-fashioned rolled oats, toasted and ground to a course meal in a food processer
1 cup of whole wheat pastry flour
½ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of whole raw almonds, toasted & chopped
1 cup of vegan chocolate chips
½ maple syrup
2 teaspoons of vanilla

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees F Bake 9-11 minutes

Notes: Cookies must be pressed into shape before baking. Put only 1 cookie sheet in the oven at a time, toast oats @ 350 degrees until fragrant and lightly colored (about 5-6 minutes), toast oats @ 350 degrees until fragrant and lightly colored (about 8-10 minutes)
