The center will provide information on emergency preparedness, identity theft and fraud prevention for shoppers and merchants at the 280 Metro Center, police said.
Local police officers and firefighters will staff the center, which will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 23.
The Holiday Safety Outreach Center is located in the 280 Metro Center mall at 7 Colma Blvd.
