If you get an e-mail Valentine's Day card, watch out for the love bug that may be lurking in it.

That bug could be a virus hackers are using to steal data from your computer.

It starts with an e-mail that says you've been sent an e-card and you just click the link to retrieve it, but if you do, a virus could be downloaded to your computer.

"What we've seen are Spambots, so they start to take over computers to send out spam. We've seen some that are stealing people's digital identities, trying to harvest your credit card information and banking information," says Michael Green, an internet security expert.

Experts recommend never opening an e-mail that doesn't come from someone you know and you should delete all others.
