Shootings leave two dead in Oakland

The first shooting was reported at about 4:55 p.m. in the 5800 block of International Boulevard, according to police.

The victim was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead, police said.

Another shooting was reported at about 10:35 p.m. near the intersection of Harold and Champion streets, according to police.

The victim in that shooting was found suffering from a single gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests have been made and no suspect information is available in connection with either incident, according to police.
