At least five computers were stolen at coffee shops between March 31 and April 8. Police said the suspects targeted victims who were sitting in coffee shops typing on their laptops. One of the suspects would grab the computer and run to a getaway car driven by the other suspect.

Investigators identified the suspects as German Duran and Jesus Duran, both 25-year-old San Francisco residents. The suspects, who were arrested April 24, allegedly admitted to additional robberies that were never reported.

They were booked on multiple charges of grand theft and burglary.
