Officers received a report of a fight in the area of Fulton Road and West Third Street at about 9 p.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had been stabbed and required immediate medical attention.
The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
The extent of the victim's injuries was unknown, police said.
