Benva Lazar faced six misdemeanor counts of sexual battery, one for each patient, district attorney spokeswoman Amy Cornell said.
"According to victims, he touched them under the ruse he was doing a breast exam," Cornell said. He used this approach on all six victims listed in the complaint, she said.
The incidents listed in the court's official complaint took place between August 2008 and October 2008.
Lazar's practice is located on Cahalan Avenue in San Jose, according to his Web site. He lives in the Almaden area.
Lazar entered his plea Thursday and will appear again in court July 17 for sentencing.
