The collision was reported at about 4:45 a.m. on Highway 4 just east of Hillcrest Avenue, CHP Officer Pacheco said.

A big rig carrying cement, a garbage truck, and a white Chevrolet vehicle were involved in the crash, according to Pacheco, who said it is blocking all lanes of eastbound Highway 4. Vehicles are using the dirt portion of the right hand shoulder to pass the scene of the crash.

No one was injured in the crash, she said.

CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said the driver of the Chevrolet was arrested after the collision but he did not say what she was arrested for.

Van Eckhardt said the lanes of Highway 4 could be reopened by about 7:30 a.m. once the big rig is cleared from the roadway.
