Pelosi briefed on interrogation tactics in '02

ABC News is reporting that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was briefed on the use of "enhanced interrogation techniques" on terrorist suspects in September 2002. They cite a report by the Director of National Intelligence's office that was submitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday.

The report appears to contradict Pelosi's previous statement that she was never told about the use of waterboarding or other special interrogation tactics.

According to the report, Pelosi learned about the enhanced interrogation techniques in a meeting that took place while she was serving as the top Democrat on the House intelligence committee.
