Researchers at Imperial College of London studied the brain scans of those who did and did not eat breakfast while showing them pictures of food.

The people who skipped breakfast found high calorie food and treats more appealing than those who started their day with breakfast.

Experts say skipping a meal is never an effective way to lose weight because the brain and body becomes focused on recouping the lost calorie intake.
