Ross Abinanti was separated from his family around 7 p.m. Tuesday in a parking structure at North Second Street and Civic Center Drive, according to the Campbell Police Department.

Officials fear that due to his dementia, Abinanti has likely not had anything to eat or drink since his disappearance. Police also said the missing man does not have any medication with him and will increasingly require medical attention if he is not located soon.

Abinanti is white, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 270 pounds. He may have boarded public transportation or could be walking at a slow pace.

He was last seen wearing a plain white baseball cap, a dark gray polo shirt with 1-inch vertical stripes, khaki shorts, white socks and tennis shoes, and a medical alert bracelet bearing his name.

Anyone with information on Abinanti's whereabouts is urged to contact the Police Department at (408) 866-2101.
