Police investigate stabbing at homeless camp

Kenneth Loyola, 52, was killed some time Friday or Saturday in a homeless encampment near Guadalupe Creek, north of West Julian Street, according to Officer Jose Garcia, a police spokesman.

Police were called to the scene around 7:40 p.m. Saturday after a friend checked on Loyola and found him dead, Garcia said. Police have no suspects and no information on a possible motive.
