A vegetation fire was reported near a trailhead in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area at Tomales Bay just before 9 p.m., PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said. Crews from the Marin County Sheriff's Office and the Marin County Fire Department responded to extinguish the small fire, which was quickly knocked down and burned just half an acre.

Downed electrical lines may have caused the blaze, Guidi said. Approximately 120 PG&E customers were initially without power until crews responded to the rural area of west Marin County to repair the lines, which lasted until late this morning. Highway 1 was partially closed during repairs.

The highway was cleared and power was fully restored just before 6 a.m., and power has been fully restored, Guidi said.
