The Service Employees International Union is expected to ratify the agreement. It was reached last Friday after months of bargaining. The deal will avert a threatened strike.

Two other unions are set to vote on similar agreements next Tuesday.

The union representing train operators and station agents will set a date once it hammers out some contract language with BART.
