The woman was found on Franklin Avenue and North Street near Franklin Memorial Park around 7:15 a.m., Sgt. Alyssa Johnson said.
A woman who heard screaming in the area called police from a pay phone at Fourth Street and Farmer's Lane around 7:15 a.m., Johnson said.
Another woman who saw the women emerging from bushes near the cemetery called police around 7:30 a.m., Johnson said.
The victim was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and was interviewed by police, Johnson said. Police are investigating the incident as a possible sexual assault.
