Jets to take new air routes in San Jose

Travelers may not notice anything different, but residents of San Jose's Rosemary Gardens neighborhood might hear some different sounds at the end of September.

Jetliners will be taking a different route than usual as they approach Mineta International Airport. The planes will land on a different runway because of a taxiway expansion project on the west side of the airport.

The airport points out it only received a few questions the last time a similar closure took place last year. Officials believe it will not delay any flights.
