O'Connell urges schools for H1N1 precautions

Jack O'Connell says remember the basics.

"The recommendations to protect yourself, please wash your hands before, during and after school with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and use a hand sanitizer, as well," he said.

O'Connell says if students or faculty get sick with the flu they should stay home. He is recommending the entire community remain vigilant and review updated guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S. Department of Education.
