Officers responded to Cash & Go in the 200 block of Tennessee Street where two suspects, one armed with a semi automatic handgun and the other holding a bundle of suspected dynamite, robbed customers and employees at around 10:10 a.m., according to Vallejo police.

The suspects were last seen in a 1978 to 1980 silver Volvo 240 heading west on Tennessee Street.

Police enlisted the help of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives because of the unusual presence of dynamite in the commission of a robbery.

Investigators also released photographs taken during the robbery by closed-circuit video surveillance.

One suspect was described as a black man with a large frame, between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a dark bandana and blue jeans.

The second suspect was described as a black man between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 140 to 170 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, a dark bandana and black pants.

One of the suspects was seen with dreadlocks.

The Volvo had "loud exhaust" and tinted windows that were peeling in the back, according to police.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects or the robbery is asked to contact Vallejo police Detective Postolaki at (800) 488-9383.
