Charges may not be pressed against Muni agent

Prosecutors have decided not to file charges, for now, against a San Francisco Muni agent accused of punching a teenage girl last Thursday at the Embarcadero station.

Police claim 59-year-old Kenneth Valentine hit a 17-year-old girl who didn't have an ID to buy a youth ticket.

However, some witnesses say the girl and her older sister threw soda cans at Valentine.

Prosecutors say they need to talk to witnesses and look at security video before making a final decision on charges.
