Blue Hippo ads have targeted cash-strapped customers offering low monthly payments to buy home computers.

The FTC sued the company last year saying few customers actually received their computers.

That case settled, but today the FTC filed another court action saying Blue Hippo has signed up an additional 35,000 customers, collected another $15 million from them and again sent out very few computers.

The FTC is asking a judge to bar blue hippo from doing business and to pay compensation to consumers. A blue hippo spokesperson could not be reached for comment.
