The crash happened at about 6:55 p.m. on the tracks near Palm
Street and there were no injuries to anyone on southbound train No. 270,
according to Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn.
A Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority bus will provide
substitute service to the passengers.
Train No. 276, which also serves Gilroy, will stop at the Tamien
station and passengers will also complete their trip on a VTA bus.
No other trains are expected to be impacted.
