Police search for two missing El Sobrante kids

EL SOBRANTE, CA

The search has been exhausting for 12-year-old Megan Singh and 14-year-old Shawn Graves. They ran away together nearly two weeks ago and their families are going door to door, hoping to find them.

"I believe that Shawn can take care of himself for the most part. I worry more about other people that might hurt Shawn," said Shawn's mother Cindy Jacobs.

Megan and Shawn attend Crespi Middle School together, but police say now the two are considered at risk because of their young ages, and the fact that so much time has passed since anyone has heard from them.

Police believe they may have taken a train to Nevada, but Shawn's family says the pair has recently been spotted roaming the streets of El Sobrante and possibly camping in the hills

"We think there's an excellent chance they're around this area," said Shawn's father Paul Graves.

But on the search so far, all they've found so far is sympathy.

Megan is of Indian descent. She is 5 feet 3, 112 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Shawn is white, 5 feet 7, 140 pounds and has blue eyes and sandy blonde hair and both ears are pierced.

Their families want them home.

"I love you and I want you to know that we just want you to come home. we just want you to come home," said Jacobs.
