Authorities say the patient was removed from life support over the weekend. She was a passenger in a car that crashed early last Wednesday morning on Foothill Boulevard.
Alameda County Sheriff's deputies say he tried to pull the car over after seeing it drive erratically. The car sped away and crashed moments later.
One young man died at the scene. Another died a short time later.
The driver is in custody on felony charges.
