Storm brings rough conditions to San Francisco Bay

The high winds led to high waves on San Francisco Bay Wednesday.

Large waves crashed along the Embarcadero. The rough conditions forced the Alameda-Oakland ferry to cancel four trips this morning. Vallejo-Baylink ferry canceled three runs. All service was back on schedule by the afternoon.

Elsewhere around San Francisco, the winds frayed some power lines at Greenwich and Laguna streets in the city's Marina District.

Nearby, at Divisadero and Filbert, a large fallen tree forced drivers to take an unexpected turn as they made their way up the hill into Pacific Heights.
