A 14-year-old Novato resident has become one of the youngest people in the world to successfully develop an application for Apple's iPhone.

"I was definitely excited when I heard about it. I did go screaming through the house, I must admit," said 8th grader Pierce Freeman. "My friends were very acceptive [sic] of this. I got a lot of virtual pats on the back, if you will.

Freeman created an app called Card Share that lets you create and share virtual business cards.

He says it took him about eight months to develop.

He has been wanting to go to MIT since he was 7 or 8 years old, and his dream job is to be CEO of Apple one day.
