SF police investigate fatal shooting in Oceanview

Police in San Francisco are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the city's Oceanview neighborhood late Monday night, a spokesman said.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Plymouth Avenue and Broad Street at around 11:40 p.m., San Francisco police Officer Boaz Mariles said.

Arriving units found a man in his early 20's suffering gunshot wounds. Medical teams pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Suspect information was not immediately available.

This is the city's 13th homicide of the year.
