Stanford nurses to vote on labor contract

Nurses at Stanford Hospital and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital are set to take a labor contract vote today. A possible strike is looming, if the contract offer is rejected.

The hospitals have been negotiating with the union representing the nurses since January and say they've given the nurses their final offer.

The main sticking points involve the nurses' medical benefits, paid time off and career advancement; 2,700 union nurses are involved.
