Samuel Rayfield didn't play Wednesday night since his mother wouldn't let him, but he showed up anyway to let his teammates know he's okay.
After getting beamed last night, they weren't so sure.
Paramedics had him airlifted to the hospital to get checked out.
The accident comes a month after Marin Catholic High School pitcher Gunnar Sandberg was hit in the head by a line drive off a metal bat. He's still recovering.
Sammy says he doesn't remember much about what happened.
"All I seen was a baseball and then, I don't remember nothing else, only the helicopter," says Sammy.
When asked if he remembered getting up to bat, he says, "Nope, I just remember the ball coming right at me," says Sammy."
Doctors performed a CT-scan and they say Sammy is just fine.
