A bill that would send the most heinous child molesters to prison for life has passed the state Assembly, 65 to 0.

The bill is known as Chelsea's Law, after Chelsea King -- a San Diego County teenager raped and murdered in February by a paroled sex offender.

The measure now goes to the Senate.

It faces a tough fight there, but if it is approved and the governor is expected to sign it.
