Lieutenant General Joseph Fil of Portola Valley has been named the Army's next inspector general at the Pentagon.
Fil is currently the commanding general of the 8th Army in South Korea. ABC7's Eric Thomas went to Korea last year to do a profile on him.
Fil says he is "humbled and honored" by his promotion.
