About Dick Burns:

An accomplished television and advertising executive, Burns played an instrumental role in the development of some of the most memorable advertising campaigns and cultural icons, including the Fruit of the Loom characters and the smile on the PSA airplane.

At the age of 38 he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and was declared dead. He wrote "Live or Die: A Stroke of Good Luck" (International Edition) to share his story of hope and recovery.
